This is an excellent value. We had a very tasty breakfast. We got afternoon tea and it was good. It wasn't as good as other teas we've had (they use tea bags, for example), but the food was good. The homemade scones were outstanding.
This is a great place to stay in Pittsboro. It's an excellent value and I do recommend it.
Overall, this place is sort of mixed. On one hand, you have a great breakfast, a comfy bed, and a tremendous bathroom. On the other, you have mixed styles of art and tea bags at afternoon tea. It's hard to give this place 5 stars, but the rating system won't let me give it 4.3 either.
We stayed in the Retreat and enjoyed it. The bathroom with the big tub is excellent. That was what we wanted and it was great.
Terrible Wi-Fi, almost unusable. You will be lucky to keep a Wi-Fi connection without getting dropped and forget about any streaming. The plumbing is noisy and you can hear water running through pipes any time anyone uses it - loud enough to wake you in the middle of the night. Rooms are nice and cozy and staff is pleasant. Internet access and a quiet nights sleep are important to me though so I cannot give a great review. Unfortunately there are not many places to stay in town.
Very quaint and homey. Stayed overnight on a Friday. Quiet rooms, bed and sheets were super comfortable. Breakfast was great in the morning too! Location is close to the gorgeous courthouse, Pittsboro Roadhouse, antiques stores, and Phoenix Cafe. We would absolutely stay again.
I loved this B & B. Check in and out was simple, the staff was more than friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect. I would recommend this to any couple needing a night away
