There is a small, free gravelled parking lot with a fairly steep and curved dirt path down to the water. Launch area is a wooden dock with a sturdy plastic floating platform, specifically designed for launching canoes and kayaks. The float has low metal rails and plastic rollers so you can push yourself off into the creek area. From the main waterway, you can access the Haw River (to the north), Robeson Creek (to the south), and eventually the New Hope River (south) and Jordan Lake (to the south and east).

Awesome place to fish and kayak.

Robeson Creek Canoe Launch is a nice secluded canoe/kayak launch. There is a parking lot that could probably host 15-20 cars if they coordinated correctly. The Canoe Launch itself is to the left side of the parking lot. There is a gravel path to a metal ramp and floating launch pad which is meant for launching from. Unfortunately, the water level seems to be down most of the time to the point it is just sitting in the mud. Canoes and kayaks could be put in on one of the other water access's near the launch (not 10-15 feet away), but are down a tad bit of an embankment (of approx 45 degrees of incline or more) which may be difficult to get in/out of.

There is also a small trail that runs along the bank from the right of the parking lot that goes towards the lake away from US Highway 64. The extent/length of the trail is unknown and not marked as a designated trail. It begins at the railing break on the right side of the parking lot near the trash can, but then continues through the woods and seems to disappear after a few hundred yards.

Free access to Jordan Lake for flat water and is also the take out for the lower Haw. Lower Haw is a class III run that changes drastically with differing water levels. Really fun section with some great play for competent whitewater kayakers. Know what you're getting into before paddling this section of river. ... Or any river for that matter :)

I've never used a launch like this before. It's really convenient and easy...
