This the most large beach area among all other sandy beach in Jordan lake and has a 1.4 mile Trail for hiking lovers. This site has many activities and loved it.
Drove all the way here with 2 excited kids and we were sent away because of no parking spots! Very inconvenient and disappointing!!
Very dirty bathrooms every time! Why they are collecting such a high entrance fee?? ...even at the spring, really!
Had the best experience.
Seaforth recreation area is great and has good access to Jordan Lake. This park has a boat ramp and basic trails to hike. There are picnic tables and grills and they can fill up when the weather is nice. There is a beach area and the water is around 4' deep at it deepest point at this park. Dogs are allowed but not in the sand. There is a volleyball area, a playground, and a bathhouse near the swimming area. The cost is around $6 per car during peak seasons and free to use most of the off season. Bring your own food and drinks. There is a lot of parking here although it does get busy in the summer, especially on Holidays. Directly across HWY64 is "Parker's Creek Recreation Area". Your day pass covers all parks so keep the receipt in case you want to visit another one of Jordan Lake's recreation areas. Parker's Creek recreation area offers deeper swimming waters and campgrounds.
